The Original Craftsman

The Craftsmen

Mark’s Motivation

Before joining the military I had an extensive art background in Architectural drawing, design drafting, airbrush, and painting. Art was my love, however, I was never shown how to make a living from my passion. After serving in the United States Air Force in a career in law enforcement I got out of the service and offered a job with a refinishing company in Fredericksburg VA. The first time I had to put and touch up a piece I knew this was the career for me. My several years working with the refinishing company and Geico.

After serving in the military and law enforcement, I founded Craftsmen Furniture Services in 1999 to pursue my passion and utilize my talent for the restoration of beautiful pieces of wood. My several years working at Geico as a claims adjuster gave me an intimate understanding of the claims, valuation, and negotiations processes as well. My family-owned and operated business caters to furniture fixation and is dedicated to giving nothing less than the best customer service.
